Angels Sign Center Fielder from D.R.
The Angels signed center fielder Luis Jolly, a raw but toolsy righthanded-hitter from the Dominican Republic, for $150,000. Jolly's best tool is his plus-plus speed and he has projectable power from his 6-foot-2 frame, though his hitting is still a work in progress.

Nice

He’s all tools at this point – speed and strenghth – but doesn’t look like he’ll have the arm for right field. Baseball America ranked him the 16th best newly eligible Latin American prospect back in July.
Which is 26 in Dominican years.
Thank you, Omar Minaya! Thank you, Mets (Vaughn, GMJ) AGAIN!
