Feb 26 - Heading to work in Tempe
Not much time today either, only had a chance to get pictures of the players heading to work.
Pictures of Hideki Matsui (mat-SOO-ee), Maicer Izturis (My-sair), Bobby Abreu (ah-BRAY-you), and Erick Aybar (EYE-bar) among others, a better photo of the 3rd mural, getting the beer ready to go.
I guess when they say a picture is worth a 1000 words, it doesn't count towards the 75 word count, because i keep adding on. I wish I had more time today to get some action photos. There's a nice roster list too you can use to help identify players from previous posts. Add Fernando Rodney was wearing his hat like the rest of the team today, what little i saw as they walked by.
Enjoy.

just doing my contribution for the community. i get much more out of this site than I put in.
These are awesome, Rex.
You need to be wearing a HH T-Shirt when the guys walk by. Or hand out HH membership cards or something. Rev needs to make you a field reporter and get you a press pass.
Yeah. That’s the ticket. Then we need our own beer truck.

Were they stopping for beer on the way in?

They need to give that list to Tim McCarver
When he’s announcing us on national TV, and especially in the ALCS and WS. If I hear “Maycer” or “Ehbar” one more time, I’m gonna be slightly to moderately annoyed.

How'd you get those on-field shots? From a hole in the south fence?
And … you must have walked right by me when you were walking with Torii… I was cranking “calling all angels” from my car as the players walked by my car.
I love this team.
yes, stopped by right field and poked through
the “CALLING ALL ANGELS” awesome!! that was you? as the players walked by on the way to the practice field, they were accompanied by the aforementioned music today.
tip – everyone’s chasing the HRs over LF, but RF is less populized.
I'm in Tempe as well...
Posted some pics and video on my blog tonight…. You gotta love spring training.

Love the ones with them all in front of the beer truck.
That’s just not your typical baseball photo, and yet it embodies the essence of the sport. Very unique.

yeah, that's what i thought.
theBud truck would make an ideal back ground as do the Tempe Buttes.
Every year though those storage conatiners are in the way too so I try to avoid them, but I’ll take Torri waving ‘Hi’ any day and didn’t worry about the back ground.

If you got Torii in the foreground, that's all that matters.
Even if it were bums peeing in the background, you still got Torii giving you peace.

Awesome photos Rex...
When life somehow settles down one day and becomes normal again (yeah right), I need to make a point to experience ST.
