  To write a compelling story, you must first have a purpose. In this case your objective should have been to attempt to bring the readership around to your way of thinking. You failed in 2 ways. You gave no logical explanation for your conclusions, and you alienated your readership by outright dismissing half of your readers without cause, and compounded your mistake by leveling worn out insults at the supporters of another 25%. It was a poor effort, devoid of facts and creativity. Here is another tip, try constructing your work in such a way that it flows across the page. Having to resort to multiple uses of parenthesis to go back and comment on what you have just written shows that you yourself knew that you were not making your points clearly.

A.) Its all cliche rehashed garbage. If you don’t have anything original to add keep your mouth shut. Seriously, if I wanted to read the bullshit you are trying to pass off as your own, all I need to do is read any one of the various mediocre baseball publications out there. At least they put some effort into their work rather than just spew out a summary of their limited baseball knowledge and then to top it off, throw in the cop out that its not worth the effort of analyzing certain teams. just pathetic (not you, just the work itself.)

B.) It really is bad writing. If you write crap that you aren’t excited about, no one else is going to get excited about it. I don’t know how old you are, but the writing just comes off immature and not well thought out. Above all, its boring to read. It is clear you aren’t excited by what you are discussing. If you seriously want to get paid for writing, you need to edit yourself. Know when its just going through the motions to just get something down and stop yourself. Don’t EVER put something out there with your name unless you are proud of it. And then, be proud of it. Tell everyone else to screw off and argue for your work.
