Cliff Lee has surgery to remove a bone spur from his foot
Fox Sports is reporting that Cliff Lee had surgery on his foot today to remove a bone spur. It will put him back 3-4 weeks although he is continuing to strengthen his upper body.

Meh.
Had a bone spur shaved off last year. Painful as hell to walk with one, but quite an easy and quick recovery. Now if the doctor had messed up take a foot OFF, now then we got something.

Maybe this gives a window of opportunity for the Halos to get off to a hot start and jump in front right away…though if the last season or two is any indication, might not be the case…if anything, might even the situation out a bit.
