Although i’m a Lakers fan (I know, I know, they’re the basketball equivalent of the skanks, but I attended my 1st game before Riley took over, so i’m no fair weather), I still have a soft spot for the Clips. Maybe because they’re painfully mediocre, like a certain baseball team I love once was. Or maybe it’s the fact that so many fellow Laker fans are so damn smug, like skank and sux fans. Plus my youngest son is a Clips fan for some strange reason.

My family and I, for the most part are Laker fans, going to games, watching games,buying the gear etc. And one day about 3 years ago, my boy had it. He said he was tired of so many bandwagon Laker fans, tired of people constantly talkin’ smack about the Clips, so he became a fan of the Clips. He is the only kid I regularly see sporting Clipper merchandise at his school. And he catches alot of flak for being a true fan, but his reply is the same as yours…
Our day will come. Reminds me of being a Halo fan, not so long ago.
