Pettit done for the Season
Looks like Pettit has requested surgery and will be out for the season. I guess it'll help the Scioscia decision for bench players just got a little easier.

So it is officially down to a combination of two of Willits, Evans, Wilson or Palmer for the last spots on the team?
Stokes also
But he has been doing really well so far.

Son of a Bitch!
I hope this doesn’t mean Willits will be on the roster. Oh Screw IT! I mean, is it even a real contest? We know the Soth will end up picking Elroy and Fred Flintstone anyway.
This blows.
I was really hoping that he would have a great spring, but I guess we don’t need an outfielder who throws worse than Johnny Damon. Git r fixed Chris, see you next spring.
1 line siggy line because I was asked nicely. Go Angels! helpfindscottajob@gmail.com
This is really obnoxious.
Pettit has so much promise and just can’t stay healthy — all due to a ton of bad luck.
Outside of Bourjos, our CF depth is really thin. Pettit gave us a nice athletic alternative to Willits, should Torii go down. Now there’s not much of a bridge between Hunter and Bourjos, and Bourjos really could use a year at AAA before assuming his likely place as the Halos’ next defensive CF star.
