Weaver getting the NA award brought back all the heartache over Nick's tragic passing...I wish the outfield wall picture was still up...does anyone know if Nick's jersey is in the dugout...I have heard the "moving on" line over and over, and I get it...but what I love about baseball is the escapism of it all for me - memories of Halo games with my Mom and Dad in the 60s and 70s, year after disappointing year tempered by abject joy in the winning years -  the greatest day of my life at Erstad squeezed the last out in 2002 WS...I'll never forget Nick (or Rory, for that matter)...they are honored with a sharpie on my various Halo hats and shirts...I still have Bostock and Donnie Moore in my heart, too...and Gene, and Buzzie, etc etc...Pennant this year is a must, by the way...
