Basic math says their has to be at least 60 ML umpires (15 max games per day and 4 umpires per stadium) They make up to 300k per year, so lets round down and say they make 200 k per season, it’s probably far more than that when you factor in pensions and great health care.
So we have MLB paying umpires at least 12 million a year. With about 75 million fans a year, MLB could afford to reduce ticket prices by 16 cents per ticket.
So I ask HH faithful……
Would you rather have
A) a 16 cent per ticket surcharge for fat pos umpires……
or
B) that money refunded to you and the joy of watching a game umpired by something
that is infallible?

Mice-tits was a late scratch from the lineup today.
He was supposed to start at 3rd for Wood today. He plays in 4 AB stretches so his fragile frame doesn’t crack. Guess it didn’t work this time.

If the Angels had just won Saunders last start, I wouldn't be all that
down about 4-6, but 3-7 just sounds pathetic.

rojas had a rep for calling like it is…. the angels sucked and the yanks did enough to win. i think thats what the broadcast sounded like

Maybe
the Angels could’ve gotten some clutch hits with the other Yankee pitcher, but no, they put in Mo-Rivera, one of the best closers in the game. Maybe that’s how the other team felt when the Angels used Percival and K-Rod. K-Rod always had a rep for putting men on base, then crushing the other team’s feelings.
