It used to be a surprise that Shields would give up HR's like that back in the day. But look at him now. When longoria hit that 0-2 pitch out to center, were you really surprised? Not really, its one of those."Here we go again".

I think what really hurt them this game was the speed. Time and time again it seemed that the infield didn't have the arms or the quickness to overcome the speed of Crawford/Bartlett/Upton.

Its just disappointing to say that least. And to those that say "its early.." if you are a true Angel Fan you know when something is wrong. When you have the worst bullpen ERA, and you have starters like Kaz who can't even make it past the 5th inning. HORRIBLE. Last week vs. BOS he went 4 1/3 for 108 pitches. 1)Kaz makes the games soooo boring to watch because he nibbles like my pet hamster (I don't really have one, i thought it was a good analogy). He did seem a little better this week but really...is this all we got??

Trevor Bell looked decent but in the long haul, if he stays up here, we'll see how he really is. It seems the bullpen is sniffing the same glue because everyone isn't doing too hot. Bulger, I like and Jepsen too..but Fuentes and his stache' has gotta go.

I'm just being really passionate because I really love this team! I've seen this team for a while now, and I know they NEED to do something at the trade deadline if they are serious to be a contender. A couple more relief pitchers that are actually good.

i feel bad for Sosh and Butcher because they have no other choices. When they pan the camera to Sosh, he looks like he's about to explode, but the Great Manager he is, he sits there very stoically even though his Relief Staff pitches like they are in coors field all the time....

I love this team but they make me depressed...I guess its that cycle that teams go through..this is a down year and luckily our division is horrible so there is a chance.

I love those bucket hats they gave away. Hmm. I wear size 8 new era capp, so I guess that wouldn't fit..
