From our friends at AM-830, Jeff Biggs went "Down in the Dugout" with Angels pitcher Trevor Bell the day after his return to the majors (a busy day capped by an extra inning W in front of the hometown fans).
AUDIO: Jeff Biggs interviews Trevor Bell
Bell talks about struggling with his slider and has abandoned his curveball, at least for now, and attributes not having better statistical results in AAA because he has been working on the grip which he now feels he has found and is comfortable throwing in game situations. Audio runs just over 5 minutes.
Bell also got to pitch against Cliff Lee in a AA matchup against the Rainers and discusses the impact.
Thanks as always to KLAA, Jeané Blunt, Jason Brennan and of course, Jeff Biggs.
