This is only baseball related in so much as Arte's station has the show on it...
I never thought much of this program, and until recently was not even sure what it was about, other than it sounded silly and I would usually change the station very quickly when it came on.
For some reason, this last week I listened to a couple segments...and I'm not sure I follow.
According to that show bio, the host seems to be wanting to "...educate and subsequently prevent these types of incidents..." when referencing drunk driving. Yet half the time it seems the program is about helping people "have fun" and still drive.
I had to Google to check if my understanding of the slang "Ridin' Dirty" was correct, and indeed it references driving with illegal substances or a firearm.
So here is what I want to know:
1) I don't really care one way or another, but is this show trying to push for more liberal laws/rules around substances and driving, or the opposite?
2) I could have sworn on at least two occassions, the show starts by saying something to the effect that it's a paid program. In other words, is someone paying to air that "live" show? If so, I can see why it would be on the air (Arte $$$) otherwise it makes no sense.
