Brendan Donnelly Available
It looks like Brendan Donnelly is available. Anyone interested, or anyone think he could help the bullpen?

Hakadosh Baruch-Hu knows, our pen needs help.
Donkey certainly couldn’t make things worse.

Hell No!
A 39 year old with a $1.5 million base salary contract that includes an innings pitched incentive that he’s not far from reaching that will kick it all the way up to $3 million; PASS
All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.
Isn't Donkey on waivers right now?
If he is claimed off waivers, doesn’t the claiming team assume his contract?

I assumed he'll clear waivers and refuse the minor league assingment
Becoming a free agent
Torii Hunter has some Brain Movage
I'll go even further with assumptions and say that Donkey has thrown his last mlb pitch
A 39 year old with a 1.66 WHIP, 5.58 ERA, a ghastly 25 BB in 30.2 IP & whose last outing lasted only 13 pitches seems to indicate this is probably the end of the line for a guy that was once one of my favorite Angels relievers.

OK, I stand corrected. He's currently worse than our current 'pen.
As unpossible as that seems.

Change of Scenery Guy?
Maybe. Give him a shot.
The farm system is depleted on pitching.
Why not bring a familiar face back to the organization, give him a 5-6 week trial in Salt Lake, and he pitches well…bring him up in September. If he sucks…then best wishes to Brendan Donnelly. Thanks for the memories.
