Trumbo and Conger ready for September call-ups.
Conger and Trumbo go a combined 7-11 with 9 runs scored, 3 HR, and 7 RBI's in SLC's 15-11 slugfest with Fresno.
Here's hoping for a sneak peek with the big league club this September..

Trumbo is very underhyped/under radar.
Compare his stats to Chris Carter of Brett Wallace, both top 50 ba ranks.
His OPS is higher than both. And his raw stats are better too.
I thought Trumbo was always over-hyped...
and now hist stats are jumping up again now that he is in the PCL?
I love this team.

I like the Carter comparison
It’s not entirely fair, since Carter is a year younger, but what Trumbo as done since the Allstar break — especially his change in approach — can’t be ignored. As an Angels’ fan, I’m gleeful that Trumbo has been so much better than the A’s golden boy this year.
Come on
be realistic, he didn’t strike out 3 times and he’s hitting over the MAthis line. Even if he comes up he won’t play.
2011, Here We Come!!
Not very excited about Trumbo
44fan claims that it is a fact Vlad will get hurt. Here is to your "borrowed time" Vlad. You were, are, and will be the man Vlad.
Are the Bees in the playoffs?

Not for sure, but they are close enough that they could make it in.
Which is why some guys will be finishing the season in Salt Lake
The one stat that makes me pause before dismissing Trumbo entirely out of hand.
55 BBs.
That’s one more than Wood ever had in any season in the minors, and more walks than I ever thought Trumbo capable of. I’m curious how often pitchers are pitching around Trumbo due to his power stroke.
