Some positions are more weighted to offense over defense...
…and vice-versa.
Catching, 2B, and SS are defensive weighted. Other positions are more offensive-weighted (1B, 3B, outfield).
I'm still trying to figure this out.
Why do the Angels like having so many light hitting, low OBP guys playing 2B, SS, and 3B. I guess we can throw 1B in when Rivera is playing there too.

Would you believe I saw a player that was so bad....
That he became the definition of being a total failure. For example, when a pitcher walks a batter with the bases loaded you will hear, “You really Mathised that up”. Or if you have a terrible error in the field, “Way to step in the Mathis there”. A clueless batter hitting .201, “Well, at least you’re below the Mathis line”….It works for every scenario.
