2011 MLB Schedules Released
Announcing the Angels schedule for 2011. Here is an SBNation post that links ALL of the schedules for next year.
- Season opener in Kansas City on Thursday, March 31
- Home Opener vs. Toronto on Friday, April 8
- 12 game road trip at the end of June (SEA, NYM, FLA, LAD)
- Interleague against the NL East (ATL, NYM, FLA, WAS)
- Finishing the season with three games vs. TEX at home
Looks like a decently easy interleague schedule next year, and an easier schedule at the beginning of the year to help our Halos get off on the right foot. Any thoughts on the 2011 schedule?

I know you can't please everyone all the time, and that making the MLB schedule is no easy task,
but did anyone else notice we play the Indians at home TWICE before we play the Mariners (home or road) once?
Just like this year. We didn't play TEX until close to the ASB.

7 games in late September
Late September, next to the last week of the season, 7 consecutive games in Baltimore and Toronto… could be a real buzzkill…
Stoked for interleague
The Angels have dominated the NL over the last couple of years and we play everyone in the east except Philly. Not too bad.
Red Hudler > Rodger Lodge
True
but that was a Philly team without Halliday or Oswalt and an Angel team with Vladdy and GA. 2 very different teams. I’m not saying we couldn’t do it again, I’m just saying Philly has turned into a hell of a team and I’d rather face Washington over them.

Once again, the schedule makers are on crack.
We have 15 games before we play anyone in our division.
Then we have 3 vs TEX, 4 vs. BOS and 3 vs TB.
Totals for MAR/APR/MAY:
Vs AL West: 17
Vs other AL: 31
Interleague: 3
Looks like a repeat of this year.

In other words, In (March,) April and May, only 1/3 of our games are vs. AL West.

Doesn't really matter which nAAAtional league teams they schedule
the end result is going to be the same.
All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.
yeah i thought that about the Brewers earlier this year
until we played them…

I love that we start and end mid-week
Opening day is that much closer, and if there’s a close division race that comes down to final day, it doesn’t have to get overshadowed by football.
Road trip?
Los Angeles to Seattle to New York to Florida to Los Angeles? I don’t think you could play 4 teams that are any further apart!
Captain, there are doubt's...
MLB will schedule just one of those games in Japan
Just to screw us over.
