It appears as though the Mets would be looking for one really good prospect and one decent prospect in return for Jose Reyes. Reyes is an all-star SS, would provide speed on the basepaths that the Angels desperately need and could bat at the top of the order. He's essentially Carl Crawford, many SB, decent BA, poor OBP and good pop. It looks as though Reyes will earn 9 million next season and will be eligible for FA. Since Aybar is under control for one more year than Reyes at significantly less money, I wonder if the Mets would be interested in a swap. I might be persuaded to throw in a good prospect.
