What is the most exciting part of the Angels season?? THIS IS A POLL
So my question is what do you think the most exciting part of the Angels season was?? (Couldnt post this as a fanshot because it didnt have a poll)
Is it watching Peter Bourjos play a great center field?
Is it watching the bullpen suck and then turn it around with the new youngsters, (Kohn, Rodriguez, Walden and Thompson)?
Or was it all of the walkoffs?
Or could it not even be part of the Angels season, but knowing theres hope with Mike Trout and other prospects have breakout years?
(I know, that is a pretty boring season) Is there something I missed? Post it below.

Had to look that up.
Hey maybe that’s what Sosh has got too! That’s why he’s been “confident that these guys will turn it around” as they have swirled the toilet bowl all season.

So I'm happy. My son got Mike Trout's autograph tonight.
And I gotta say that dude is FAST! He hit a grounder that put the guy at third in a pickle. In the time it took to get the guy out, Trout got all the way to third! He was like the flash. Even on a simple ground out, he almost beat the ball to first.
And in all other aspects, Trout just looked like he was steps above his teammates in how to play the game. He was exciting and I’m glad I got to see him play before he’s off to Arkansas next year!
Well that’s my bit. Sorry no pics. I’m not the most tech worthy guy.
Any time you think you have the game conquered the game will turn around and punch you right in the nose.

Cool. Lancaster, eh?
I was thinking of catching a game up there this series.
I love this team.

You should. Cool atmosphere. Sit on the visitor side.
Wear your Angel red or Quake gear if you have. My kids got 9 autographs each. It was a lot of fun too. And Saturday’s game has pretty good fireworks after the game.

I have a few favs...
Conger’s HR in the future’s game, the big fly Brandon Wood connected on (transofrmation), Trout performance in the future’s game, watching Kohn and Walden do their thing in the pen, and of course watching the greatest defensive CF in the game play the game the way it was meant to be played. It really brings it all into perspective, there really is no bad year of Angels baseball, there’s always something that was great, and always something else to look forward to.
Next year, I’m looking forward to Conger, Trumbo and Amarista. The year after that, Trout, Jimenez, Reckling and Chatwood. The year after that Richards, Segura, Grichuk and Martinez. Sprinkle in some Moore, Auer, Pettit and Bell in there and it makes for an exciting time.

Seeing Jeff Mathis transform into the premium catcher we all knew he'd become.
Or that WALKOFF GRAND SLAM.
In all seriousness though, Peter Bourjos is a beast.
watching our season end with the brake of K-Mos legs

I'd say Jeff Mathis' HR in game 1
and Sosh saying to himself “jeffy is on pace for a 162 HR season”
What do you need a fancy suit for, Charlie, you ain't got no job to wear it to.

watching Brandon Wood blossom into the power hitter we all knew he would be.
so glad he got a chance to shine.
Remember smelling dittos when the teachers handed them out fresh off the machine?
I bet that part in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” is completely lost on the newer generation of rug-rats.
I love this team.

No doubt. A lot of cultural references are like that.
When Sally Ride (first US Woman Astronaut) went up in Columbia, back in ’83, she noted that the ride was an “E-Ticket”.
No kid today would understand that Disneyland reference.

The most exciting thing for me this year?
Watching our New Media Generation of Halo fans struggle with the long and arduous journey towards the realization that, at the end of the day, all the hoopla about the goings on amongst minor leaguers most commonly adds up to a whole lot of nuthin’.
"Wastin away again in Minor-Leaguer-Ville..."
Most exciting thing,
That Napoli proved once and for all he is a better player and more valuable asset to the team than Jeff Mathis.
I hate the Texas Rangers
Most exciting thing?
All the memories of the 70s that came flooding back

Given the offense, maybe they should take batting practice in the hotel lobby.

I don't think "exciting" means what you think it means.
Assuming, that is, that you’re not into S&M.
I do not recall anything exiciting about this year it has been a total fiasco.Moving Hunter to right to let Bourjous play center . big deal, just another dude who can`t hit.Better get some new scouits.Ones they have don`t appear to be finding decent players. No one in the minors is impressing anyone and none are ready for the big leagues any time soon.
Jered Weaver, Dan Haren, Ervin Santana
Our Starting pitching has been the most exciting part in my opinon, mainly these three:
Jered Weaver has clearly stepped up his game this year, and there’s no reason why he should regress next year.
The deal for Dan Haren looks like its gonna pay dividends for the Angels next season and beyond. The guy can pitch with the best of them and is happy to be in SoCal.
Ervin Santana is having a solid, ho-hum year w/ a 4.05 ERA to this point. He’s not far from being a valuable asset as our no. 3 starter.
I was at the Kendry Morales walk-off game. That game was the most exciting part of the season to that point – Weaver and Felix Hernandez both threw gems, Bobby Abreu hit a late HR to tie the game, and Morales’ grand slam. It’s too bad that immediately after that game ended, our postseason hopes ended.
Go get’em in ’11

The best was when we drove from Santa Barbara to Anaheim and....
…. we watched my friend Brad eat a footlong.
…. i got a candy dish, which my future wife will put out once we turn 85 together.
….. there were skanks with yellow white kindling for hair and low cut tops.
….. we watched future hall of famer Kevin Millwood pitch a gem. at least he looked HOF.
….. I have never seen a more impressive collection of tribal/barbed wire tats.
….. Pete got a hit. It stood out cause pretty much no one else did.
….. we saw an ancient Japanese statue. Someone had put an Angels uniform on it. We laughed our asses off.
….. We got to hear Train again. Zoinks! Brad, who is from Philly, asked if Angel fans actually get all hyped by that song. He said he was embarrassed for us. i told him the song usually makes me a Padre fan for about 3 minutes.
….. Jeff Mathis didn’t play. His CERA gets tender when Special Kaz pitches and we couldn’t risk injury.
….. almost broke our jaws as they dropped in amazement at Special Kaz’s ability to hit that same high and outside spot to right handed hitters almost at will. It was like he was in a trance!
…. watched Tim eat a churro.
…… decided that, after watching them play the Angels, the Orioles were a lock to win the World series this year and we should just be glad to have seen em.
…. got out of the parking lot pretty easily.
Watching this team…. even when they scrape together wins and make the play offs, is about as exciting as watching JAG re-runs. This season had no exciting moments, it was one long, margarine flavored pile of ehhhhhh.
Sometimes I wish Rex would be quiet

Highlight of this season
Easy: Watching Vlad bat in Angel stadium and proceeding to crush bombs.
When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!
