Quakes Advance, Face Storm
The Quakes beat the High Desert Mavericks 7-1 on Thursday night. Mike Trout was 1-4 (2B), with a walk. The Quakes advance to face the Padres' Cal League affiliate Lake Elsinore Storm in a best-of-five second round matchup. They'll have at least one more home game on Monday, perhaps the final chance to see Mike Trout play locally until he's with the big club.
