This jersey debuted at home against the White Sox on May 14, 2008 with Arredondo surrendering a homerun to the first batter he faced, Nick Swisher. It was the first new jersey number worn by an Angel since Joe Saunders debuted #68 at the Big A on August 16, 2005.
