Didn't look like the Brewers were capable of beaitng a Double-A team

If anyone can beat the Rangers, the Cards look hot enough to do it.

Agreed

give Texas something to crap their pants about: They face yet another hot team who needed every reg. season game to gain entry into the postseason.

No way man!

Brewers and Halos are going to swap first baseman. We’ll sign the Prince and trade Trumbo or Morales to Milwaukee for prospects.

Morales can go.

Trumbo stays.

Morales at 75% will be better than 100% of Trumbo.

Not even close IMO

Logic tells me that the stRangers are going to win it all.

But somehow I just can’t shake that feeling that the Cards are going to 2006 ’em.

Hell, at this rate, I'll root for the Cards.

Anyone other than the Texas Rangers!

Dude, try LSB.

Although your spelling and punctuation might not be appreciated there. Try to work in an F bomb or two, and question someones sexuality. Along with such euphemisms like “Don’t mess with Texas.” You’ll fit right in.

My Ian Kinsler voodoo doll is all ready with Cardinals logo pins to stick in it.

Napoli's 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th homers of the year (four more than Jeff Mathis' career total) rained down on Angel Stadium like knives from the ceiling.

What was wrong with the Brew Crew (other than them beating us in '82?)

If the Halos don't care about the way they play, then why should I?

by red floyd on Oct 17, 2011 9:07 AM PDT up reply actions

The Cards have enough WS rings. Then again I don't want the Rangers to ever have any

Gonna have a tough time watching this one.

I didn't have a huge preference between the two teams.

maybe the Brewers by a little, but what struck me was the dejectedness and sadness on the faces of the players in the dugout starting in the 8th inning. I noticed the same thing in the Tigers dugout the other night.

It was hard to watch even though neither of these are my teams.

THIS… IS… ANAHEIM!!

I agree totally

I hate seeing that (except on Nyjer Morgan’s face). I felt terrible though for Braun and Weeks and Fielder though. Those guys played their asses off all season for this.

Fair Weather Non-fan

I started by rooting for the Brewers, basically because they haven’t won much of anything for a long time. But during the games I felt my loyalty shift—even on those games the Brew Crew won. I guess I don’t like closers with Fu Manchu mustaches. Go Cards!
