Final game of 2011 is tonight.
In 2002, a team down 3 games to 2 had a miracle comeback in Game 6 at home and won Game 7. There has not been a World Series Game 7 since then.

I’m trying to enjoy this relatively stress-free weekend after midterms, apologies for being slow.
s' ok.
I’ve been painting for a couple of weeks. It doesn’t seem to have any smell, which is a nice change, but my brain is kind of broken from trying to figure out what color these paints really are, how they “read” in the rooms where we’re putting them.

For now, but there will be a grisaille mural based on the Livia house in Rome.

Most of the mural will be sepia tones.
But there are two panels that I want to do in full color, and mount them over part of the sepia mural, so that if I want I can take them with me and won’t have to repair the mural underneath.

I am slightly color blind in the blues and greens, can’t match colors except under strong light like sunlight or bright incandescent.

There was a play yesterday that looked like the runner was safe
and the announcers kept syaing that the various angles showed that the runner was out, that third base (I think?) was blocked by the Ranger’s foot, but the more they showed that play the more it looked like he was safe anyway. The runner’s hand deflected off the baseman’s foot but his hand and upper chest were on/over the play by the time he was tagged.

Get some sour cream and onion chips with some dip, man, some beef jerky, some peanut butter. Get some Häagen-Dazs ice cream bars, a whole lot, make sure chocolate, gotta have chocolate, man. Some popcorn, red popcorn, graham crackers, graham crackers with marshmallows, the little marshmallows and little chocolate bars and we can make s’mores, man. Also, celery, grape jelly, Cap’n Crunch with the little Crunch berries, pizzas. We need two big pizzas, man, everything on ’em, with water, whole lotta water, and Funyons.

I lived up there when he came back.
I heard the howls of anger and pain still echoing from their move to LA.
And then we got to pay for them to come back. There was a special elction held only in Oakland, but the taxes to make over the Coliseum affected all of Alameda county. We lived in the county and did not get to vote on this tax measure. Then they made the Coliseum even worse for baseball.
He was a bastard.
