Cardinals Win the World Series!
Yup. You just can't recover from a Game 6 like that can you.
The Rangers did take an early lead in the 1st... but that was wiped away instantly in the bottom of the 1st...and then the dominoes just fell.
Cardinals win today 6-2... giving them the World Series crown.
Congrats to them for sure.

I wish we would have got them.
Yesterday was a crushing blow to them. It would break a lot of people. I for one wish Beltre came to Anaheim and Napoli was still an Angel. Than maybe we are in the World Series. I would still would have taken him knowing this.

I really doubt that he means
“Well, we lost yesterday, so we just didn’t try today.” Game 7 won’t be the game people remember ten years from now.

I'd rather have neither of those choices.
Baseball is filled with complete assholes, if we got rid of everyone who has said or done stupid things, then there wouldn’t be anyone on the field, or anybody watching them.

This jinxed them more than anything as far as i’m concerned.

So good
I think I’ll have to print a couple of those off and hand them to any annoying Rangers fan at the next game I’m at against them.
As much as I have started to dislike the Rangers
I almost feel bad for them. That was a pretty tough was to lose

Screw 'em.
I still remember ’82 and ’86. I think all of us fans have had to endure crappy ways to lose. And the heartbreak that goes along with it.

Nope. Remember, "This time, it counts!"

It took them fifty years to come within a strike of a championship
It took them one inning to do it again.
May they regret it for another fifty years.

And, to think ........ Texas fan thinks they will land the Prince
Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha. Your Achilles Heel was your walk-happy pitching staff.
The look on Nolan Ryan’s face in the 9th inning -— PRICELESS!
"I'm Tony Reagins. People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks. Years later, a doctor will tell me that I have an I.Q. of 48 and am what some people call mentally retarded."
The cost of Ian Kinsler yelling at us to "Get the f*ck off their field", in hindsight, hilarious.
Josh Hamilton saying that god told him, that he would hit a HR, in a game they would later lose, pretty friggin’ hilarious.

Dude, the tequila has been flowing at halofolife's house tonight.
I’ve been thinking the same thing. Last season I went over to LSB to wish them lick against San Fran, and was told to f&ck off, suck, such and such, and generally rebuffed with extreme prejudice. I’m not gonna troll, but a small part of me thinks I should.

Still too much baggage left over from the Reagins Administration to not favor them again next season
I'd favor them, sure
but if Morales is back and can contribute, Mathis is gone, Trout gets playing time, and the Rangers lose CJ Wilson (all of which are not improbable), then the gap between us is extremely small.

I felt bad for Texas.
Just how much agony that must have caused the fans. Then I remembered them saying how they wanted to stomp on Sosh’s face with a golf shoe, how they wanted Mark Trumbo to die and how CJ Wilson > Weaver. I also remembered Kinsler telling the Halos to get the fuck off his field, Hamilton giggling about how he wants another Angel next year and CJ Wilson trying to make some sort of joke that connected Scioscia, Napoli and their heritage. Then I also though…
LOL TEXAS! SUCK IT! (Except Big Tex. I like him.) See you next year, losers!

It would be cool if we had one of those.

The Rangers made their share of mistakes
However, they were screwed on that walk to Molina. That was definitely strike 3. Still, CJ Wilson can’t blame the ump for plunking Furcal with his very first pitch. I wonder if his overall postseason will cost him some $$$ this offseason.
I cannot wait until next season
Halos/Rangers games are going to be extra special. Bring your signs and your best smack talk. The Rangers are going to hear it. Napoli should get a sincere standing O, the rest of the Rangers are losers.
When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!
If DO is a Ranger again
He also should get a standing O for his 10th inning in Game 6.
