Is Kendry going to be able to bounce back
its been almost 2 years since he has played and im not sure if i think he can bounce back. Him being one of my favorite players i dont wanna get rid of him but why dont the angels take a look at David Ortiz or Jim Thome as a DH this season just in case of another season where his legs still bugging him?

I think you summed it up pretty well.
Official prediction: The Angels will win the AL west this season.

To answer your question...
I think Kendrys will be fine…. Not ‘09-’10 fine, but ~.830 OPS fine.
Now buckle down and get ready to get hosed for being the “1 comment, 1 fanpost” guy.
I think i'm ready to get hosed
thanks for answering the question though. And like i said up there it’s not that i don’t like him it’s just i don’t think it’s a smart idea to put all of our hope in a guy whos been injured for 2 years
i agree
in fact I will go one further – he is finished, don’t count your chickens before they hatch, sign prince fielder
thanks for reminding me
why i never should post anything beyond a comment on this site

XKCD for the win

If the Halos don't care about the way they play, then why should I?

There’s nearly a fanpost a week like this, but they all get deleted so new members here aren’t aware that they’re not received well and keep posting them.
Not to make an example of you, but maybe we should keep this up so people see they shouldn’t post stuff like this. Just an idea.

I think Scioscia will have Kendry(s) rolled out to the batter's box in a wheel chair if that's
what it takes next season. Stay tuned for spring training promises and predictions from the FO. We do presently have a DH in Bobby Abreu unless he is somehow traded which I don’t see happening.
Napoli's 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th homers of the year (four more than Jeff Mathis' career total) rained down on Angel Stadium like knives from the ceiling.
Exactly
If he can make it to the batter’s box and around the bases during a live game, he’ll be fine. He may be a little off at first until his timing comes back, but I doubt he’ll have much more trouble than that. It’s his ability to run that’s impaired, not his ability to swing.

If his leg strength is down, then that will impair his ability to swing with power.
Vernon Wells 2011 Stats (.218/.248/.412) and 2010 road stats (.224/.299/.400). The front office shouldn't have been surprised.
If he can't re-build his leg strength in 2 years...
He’s a horse and ought to be turned into dog food or glue. The concern should be his timing and pitch recognition more than his health in my opinion.
He was taking BP last spring with no problems
He had the second surgery because he couldn’t run at full speed.

The lack of proper spelling and grammar in this so-called FanPost is more annoying than the sound of fingernails on a blackboard!

Yes, indeed, but it produces a glorious outrage such as yours
which amuses me to the utmost!
I meant the OTHER Howard!
Can anyone explain to me
How Kendrys accrued all that service time without being serviceable? I can understand him gaining service time in 2010, but to not have a single AB and still be up for free agency next year is BS. I think Kendrys will be okay because there is a lot of money on the line if he comes back and is able to produce. Scott Boras has the best facilities in the business as far as agents are concerned and rest assured he will do everything within his power to make sure Kendrys is in the best possible shape and position to succeed in 2012.

From Jeff Mathis' TOPPS card: "Jeff is a defensive catcher, but he can rake it when it counts." Jeff has a lifetime .199 MLB batting average
Since we're sll guessing...
….I’ll go with Kendrys spending the start of the season in either AA or AAA on rehab assignments while he gets in “game shape”. This will give the team time to see what’s left in Abreu’s tank and whether or not Trumbo will have a “sophomore” slump. I’d be surprised if Kendrys saw major league pitching in a regular season game before June 2012.

Wells would not even net Scott Kazmir or Jason Speier in a trade

Is Jason Speier better than Justin Speier?

They are twins seperated at birth
Totally forgot his first name. Thanks for the correction.

too many bad words come out of his mouth for me to concider him really good. good maybe, but really good?
I’m sorry. You said pretty good.
I wish this site had an edit button.
Angels.
Not Jeff Weaver. Jarrod Weaver is good and if you want to go a few years back Jered Washbern is good two.

Angles
let’s talk about how Bourjos tracks down those balls in CF. He really takes the best angels to cut them off.
