Trading a pitcher when we are short 2 for the rotation makes it look like wilson will be a halo to me

We don't necessarily need Wilson

Buehrle, Malhom, Jackson, Oswalt, or Kuroda would all be really nice additions, for WAY less money than Wilson. DiPoto seems to be someone who prefers the smaller free agent deals, and the big trades. This trade almost definitely means we’re getting at least one of these pitchers.

i dont know what to feel right now

Chatwood was and is 21 and he was forced into the rotation due to two of our starters sucking. people look at the angels last year and say we sucked…we didnt really only a couple of players did and we replaced them with great young guys who weren’t ready yet. good news that means Mathis’ days are numbered, bad news is who will make up the back end of our rotation?
