Congrats To The Angels
What a great time to be an Angels fan. You owner finnally gets it that you have to spend to win.
This, coming from a Red Sox fan who can't help but be impressed with what your team just did. Starting with C.J.,you have added a 4th quality starter,as long as you keep Santana.I can't think of another team with a better rotation. Signing Albert is just incredible! It's's to bad that Napoli got away and Wells came, but if Morales comes back, that will give you a good lineup. I wonder if Albert would play 3rd so Kendry could play 1st? I mean, I hope Morales will come back someday. Anyway, good job,Dipoto and Moreno for realizing that if you want to win, you have to spend. It's should always be about this year.

There is a greater chance of the Sox winning the 2011 World Series
than of Albert moving to third to make room for Kendrys at first.

I read that the Angels and Red Sox, both at 7/1
are second only to Philadelphia at 5/1 in World Series odds.

Too bad we traded mathis to BlueJays
i think we could have got more value if he was traded to the Red Soxs for Fried Chicken and Beer
The neighbor is a cranky irish expat. He if wanted no snakes, he shoulda stayed in Ireland.

Where every day is Valentine's Day
oh bahstin you’re a sewer!
Enjoy the 100th anniversary of the Titanic sinking… I mean of Fenway Pahhhk
The nerd in me has been waiting forever for that anniversary
but I haven’t heard any commemoration other than a shitty 3D re-release of the James Cameron turd.

Thanks, I hope our big ticket free agents work out a hell of a lot better than the big ticket
guys your ex-GM signed last off season. Sorry about Lackey melting in your hands.
Napoli's 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th homers of the year (four more than Jeff Mathis' career total) rained down on Angel Stadium like knives from the ceiling.
That was insider trading
David Stern should have blocked that trade.

I personally want to thank Boston for making sure Reagins did not resign John Lackey
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
My Red Sux fan friend
just told me “they better win the series…”
An interesting comment I thought (as opposed to “congratulations,” like I told her last year after the Bahstin’s pick-ups).
But I guess she’s got a good point.
I always answer that with: "let me finish the sentence ... 'at least once within the next 10 years...'"
I’m patient, though.
I love this team.

Boo-Sux
The Boo-Sux are fast becoming irrelevant, even with the league’s attempt to get them into the playoffs by adding another wild card team. They seem to be heading into a tailspin. I LOVE IT!!!

Dear Mr Backhanded Compliment
Our owner has long known that it is necessary to spend in order to win.
Until 2011, he didn’t have the revenue from broadcasting of the games (his own NESN) which would allow him to write enormously expensive contracts, the kind essential to winning. You know, contracts like:
° Adrian Gonzalez $154M/7
° John Lackey $82.5M/5
° Carl Crawford $142M/7
° Dustin Pedroia $40.5M/6
The kinds of deals which guarantee your team a trip to postseason ball.
Oh, wait…The Red Sox have missed the postseason two years in a row, just like the Angels. In fact, they just completed one of the most storied collapses in the history of the sport. All this, while operating with payrolls of $164M in 2011 and $168M in 2010.
But, please, don’t let me interrupt: Please continue with your lecture about how spending money equates with winning. It has been very entertaining thus far. Not educational, but certainly entertaining, in the way that going 7-20 in the final month of the year is entertaining. At least, it provided huge entertainment value to Angels fans.

Even better
I like how the last time the Red Sox made it to the postseason, they were swept 3-0 in the ALDS by a team which didn’t yet know it was necessary to spend money to win games.

Thank you for all the kind words
I always root for Boston when they aren’t playing against us. How is our hero John Lackey doing for you? I was so happy to hear that since we couldn’t afford to sign him, he went to your team instead.

All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

???????????????????????????????
.
Dear Texas: "One, two...........THREE!" The next number IS THREE!!!
Where's Angelslogic when you need him?
He ripped Baseballs_econ for like 4 grammatical errors in 2,000 word essay, and yet he has nothing to say to this guy? My favorite part is “its’s’.”
Where were you on December 8th, 2011 - Pujols Day?
I like the random insertion of commas. It's almost as if they are darts being thrown at the canvas of words
and where they stick they stay.
