Huh! Torii Straight!!!

If the Halos don't care about the way they play, then why should I?

Damn straight
Whatever happens on the field next season, Hunter, Moreno, Pujols, Wilson and the rest of the jubilant Angels will be anything but boring, as they have triumphantly emerged as one of baseball’s most high profile franchises.
Somebody PLEASE
Make that Torii Hunter reality show happen.

I think he will have his own gig on MLB tv after his playing days are over.
Napoli's 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th homers of the year (four more than Jeff Mathis' career total) rained down on Angel Stadium like knives from the ceiling.
I read somewhere else that he said he would take a lot less money to stay with the team.
I don’t know if they will have any place for him with Vernon stuck here and trout incoming. But it would be nice to keep him long enough to make sure he goes to the hall of fame as a Halo, even if it’s as a utility guy.
I think he essentially said
I’m either playing for the Angels in 2013 or I’m retired
Well, come see a fat old man some time!
That was a great interview.
Torii is always good for a laugh. He is one of my all time favorite players. I would love to see him stick around as a fourth outfielder for a couple of years after his contract expires. Hopefully DiPoto can find a way to unload Vernon and make that happen.
