With Jered Weaver and CJ Wilson locked up through 2016, when do we lock up Dan Haren and what would a fair deal be for him? Will the Angels FO only want to extend him through 2016 and then have all contracts expire the same year? His WAR has not gone down. His durability is enviable. I imagine the Angels will pick up his 2013 option for $15M and then try to work out an extension for something along the lines of 5 years for $81.25M. The salary is a down the middle split of Weaver and Wilson. This would also mean all three hit FA after 2016. Thoughts?
