Dan Haren 1-Hitter •Angels 2011 Top Eleven #5
The Cleveland Indians were the hottest team in baseball ten games into the 2011 season but on April 12, Dan Haren threw 125 pitches, struck out 8, walked 2 and only allowed one hit in a two hour, fifteen minute masterpiece. Angels win two-zip.

totally forgot about this!
between ervin’s no-no and weaver’s countless gems the past year. sorry dan!
Twas indeed a gem
… Cant wait for next year’s countdown of 12 … hopefully No. 12 will be Albert’s first bomb off Yu Darvish.
Don't call me Bugs. Although Bugs Bunny could do it all on the baseball field.

Nope. That will be #2.
- will hopefully be the WS title.
If the Halos don't care about the way they play, then why should I?
Pretty sure another moment could’ve taken the spot, but we shall wait to see what the last few are.

Was there.
Kept score. Choo line drive to right with 1 out in the 4th.

Of those five, I'd prefer Mathis getting traded being left off.
Let’s move forward into the greatness that is the Albert Era.

Why? That's 5 moments, with only 4 spots left. Unless you are doing ties, which will be stupid.

you can have an "All Time Greatest" after #1
The saddest day of the year is the day baseball season ends.
seems like Haren threw about five 1-hitters to me
He was pretty much nails most of the time. Fourteen times he gave up 5 hits or less.
He also had one hit, against the Dodgers Jun 24, and will be carrying over a 1-game hitting streak into 2012. He batted .333 with an OPS of .667 and 1 RBI.
The game he came in and pitched the 14th inning to get the W was pretty cool too, against Toronto Apr 9th, allowing no hits.
I was there for the 14th inning heroics.
That really solidified my love of Danny, that he was willing to do that so early in the season, when “the games don’t count as much.”

Yeah. If I had any Photoshop-fu, I'd put Haren into a Dirty Harry poster... with the big gun.
Anybody willing to take a crack at it?

I was at this game. One of my favoritews of 2012.
He was dominant, the Angels won, and I was home by 10 o’clock. Perfect night at the Big A.
