NBC Hardball Talk reports that Mathis has been traded to the Blue Jays for pitcher Brad Mills- O joy! Rapture! I'm thinking that we got something of actual value for a player that was a lock to be non-tendered, so this has to be a good deal even though Mills was nothing to write home about for the Jays. I guess we know who's in charge in the Halo office now, too. So far, looks like Dipoto is a firm candidate for sainthood with the Halo faithful!
