Two Angels' clearance items worth checking out
The first one I already own and have been impressed with the quality. It's a half-zip pullover sweatshirt (fairly thin, not really heavy or bulky), originally $65 and knocked down to $33.73 plus shipping. Currently available in M-XXL. It would be a nice shirt to take along for the April and October evening games when the stadium cools off quite a bit.
The other is what I bought tonight: A closeout of the Hunter Alternate Jersey for 2011, with the 50th anniversary patch. The regular price is $290, and with both discounts this is coming to me at a total price with shipping of $179.96. They have Morales as well, both in sizes 40-60. Even if 2012 is That, and the fact he stiffed the Rangers when he elected to sign with us--the Rangers were certain he would be playing CF for them.
There are plenty of other items, but the two above are both available currently in a wide variety of reasonable sizes (as opposed to some garments which are simply closeouts of Size Small or Extra-Extra Large only).
The MLB Store is offering the extra 25% discount only through 1/2/12, and the savings are pretty good when factored in on top of the normal Clearance price. Besides, the Alternate Jersey for 2012 is already listed on the website with a price of $305, so the $180 shipped price for the 2011 Hunter looks even better.

one of my customers was telling me about this site
She bought a few jerseys from them and said the quality is perfect. They are only 19 bucks. I’m ordering a couple this week to check them out for myself.

I guess I’ll find out soon. Got a red pujols, white pujols, white weaver, and white womens blank one for my wife.

The saddest day of the year is the day baseball season ends.
they are also selling adenhart jerseys
which I’m pretty sure MLB wouldn’t do.
Jim Bowden on Tony Reagins.

nope, they took those down off the Angels site right after

well crap. Way to ruin my excitement.
I ordered those few and the july 4th/ flag “A” hat. I guess I’ll see how it goes. Hopefully I dont get burned too bad. Thank goodness for credit cards and disputing charges.
On the positive side, most of the complaints I saw were complaints about not receiving tracking info. Lots of people later commented that they do get authentic jerseys after a week or two.

sorry but I doubt it
they probably see a tag so therefore it’s legit

you're probably right
but i’d put my money on the authentic jerseys being made in India over the U.S. so at least the sources are similar.
wondering what Ortiz did with that game ball...
they probably have the equivalent of third shifters there like they do in China
The saddest day of the year is the day baseball season ends.
Those Conger and Anderson jerseys are so wonky in the pictures.
looks like the ANGELS across the front would go over your gut like a THUG LIFE tattoo.
Let me know if it actually works.
If they have authentic Pujols jerseys at $19, I’m in…so if there’s any glitches, post about them when you get your cheap Angels bounty.

If you look at the photos carefully
They alternate between pirated photos from the MLB website of the replica jerseys (no number on the front) with in-house photos of their products (with the numbers on the front, like the authentics in that respect).
But on their in-house photos, take a good look at the fonts used for the numbers and letters on the back: Wrong, wrong, wrong. They look like something a local T-shirt shop would do to make beer-league softball jerseys.
There are plenty of companies in the US which do a better job of doctoring replicas to look more like authentics, but this place isn’t one. The $19 price is the biggest giveaway to the level of detail provided.

So Im back home from the post office, and here are some pics:

It was a good experience for me.
I placed the order Jan 2nd. I got an email back that night saying they didnt have the pujols jersey in size 48 and asking what I wanted to do. I asked for size 50 and then got a confirmation the next day.
The box shipped out a few days ago, they emailed me the tracking number when it left. My wife didnt answer when the post man knocked so I went to go pick it up. Shipping took about 3 days total once the order went out.
Like I said above, the quality is perfect, the jerseys are the more expensive authentic mlb jerseys… for under 20 bucks! You can see that each layer of “ANGELS” is stitched on separately in the one image. The womens jersey I ordered for my wife is great and I ordered a hat also. It is 59fifty with all the tags as well.
A great deal, 20 dollar jerseys, 8 dollar hats with express shipping a flat 20 bucks.

OK, I'm impressed
The hologram tag with the MLBPA logo on it is a pretty good indicator of the level of authenticity.

sorry. I have spent way too much time on ebay boards dealing with counterfeit crap
I’m very cynical about “anything that sounds too good”
"We are the JeDi, the ultimate power in the universe. We will do as we choose. And we will destroy any who dare stand in our way."
You dont have to be sorry, it is good to be aware.
I think the only way to really ever be sure is to buy it at the team store/mlb.com for anyone thats cool with at worst a very good knockoff and at best surplus goods (with buddy selig not getting his cut) its an option.

I have a whole soapbox about counterfeits and people who think it's OK
"We are the JeDi, the ultimate power in the universe. We will do as we choose. And we will destroy any who dare stand in our way."
what do you think about buying real stuff through unauthorized channels?
I would imagine it is the same to you, but Im curious.
I really am sincere in my interest, counterfeit stuff isnt something I have really ever thought much about before, but I do buy a lot of knock off stuff on ebay knowing the quality will be lower, but the price difference sometimes seems worth it.
For example I bought 2 extended life batteries for my cell phone to test the difference between the “official sprint” battery and the 99cent asian one. The sprint one has held up better but it was close to 60 times the price and lasts maybe only 10 to 15% longer.

btw, my personal guess after carefully looking over the jerseys and comparing them to an official one is this stuff is real stuff that gets pulled for whatever reason-
a missed stitch or other sewing error, over ordering, etc…

Under PIPA or SOPA, MLB could have this site shut down without a court hearing because of this thread.

Guessing the Kohn projections were the following
69 IP, 4 hits, 1 BB(and that was only out of pity for the other team), 207 K
I’m sure Halowood will also start the Kohn for 2012 AL ROY campaign along with the Edinson Volquez for 2012 NL ROY campaign.
Haha!
Kohn’s gonna be a in beast mode.
