Bert is the reason I hate the Twins so much
He would kill us every time we faced them. Getting Bert was a twenty+ game swing for us.

That's a weird photo
It looks like it’s a Ranger leading off second base but if you imagine there’s a glove behind Bert’s knee then it looks like Bert pitching in a ROAD uniform with a SS playing behind him in a HOME uniform. I don’t think we had a black SS in that era.
