I doubt it’d beat this kid, though.
That was one of the first songs I ever learned(“smoke on the water”). He sounds damn good for his age, unless he’s been playing for years. Good job, little dude!!!

Kurt did it maybe 40-50% of the time. Jimi did it about 95% of the time.
Both were guitar heroes for me, though, in junior high.

DD plays the guitar literally upside down with the low E on the bottom and the high E on the top. Hendrix and Cobain flipped their guitars over but still strung them low to high.

My buddy plays like that. He's good, but it brings out some OCD in me when we're jamming...like I just want to re-string his guitar when he's not paying attention. Just weirds me out.

most teachers, at least it used to be, would try to get you to play right handed cause they would get confused trying to teach someone backwards. Upside down AND backwards? You’re on your own!
