What a great game to attend
Warm summer day, blue skies, and depressed Mets’ fans from the first inning on. Was there with my three oldest children on Father’s Day (youngest in Thailand, but their Father’s Day is in October). Absolutely glorious. Thank you Halos.
Well, come see a fat old man some time!
It was a great game
wondering what Ortiz did with that game ball...
I was one of those depressed Mets fans
Chatwood was impressive. Nice job, guys, good luck in a tough division the rest of the way. And if the Mets trade Reyes to the Angels, I may become an Angels fan full-time instead of just when they play non-Mets teams!

Co-Panther
for Chatwood and Aybar and maybe even Wells since who knew Cassevah would crap the bed and give the Mets their glimmer of hope in the 9th.

Figures. The first time all season I could put up the Halo Blitz and I wasn't on the game thread.
If the Halos don't care about the way they play, then why should I?
Wells' batting average above the Mathis line.
I’m selling all my possessions and going camping.

There will be no living with Soth now.
Stupid Mathis.

Happy Fathers Day to all fathers out there...!
And a happy Fathers Day shout out to Soth and Mathis.
Today the son made his father especially proud with that dinger.
Looking ahead to tomorrow's game
(From the MLB preview):
The Halos are 30-7 when scoring at least four runs this season, but they have a 5-31 record when scoring three or fewer.

I heard they won the LAST 11 ...
when scoring 4 runs!
I love this team.

If that's what it takes...
Scary though is the nearly equal amount of 4+ run and 3 or less run games.

POTG: Aybar (my write in vote)

This is totally unfair
Last year Baltimore sucked so bad they fired their Manager and hired Buck Showalter. We played them the next day and got swept in that series.
Today Miami’s manager resigned. We play them tomorrow. We should get a 3 run per game “new manager’s” handicap.
The new manager will probably be asleep by the 7th inning...

Yeah, I heard they want McKeon back as the interim.
If the Halos don't care about the way they play, then why should I?
Sorry, it is above 1.
I mean above 2. And maybe his K/9 to be above 6.

Hello, Scottnak
I participated in Pregame Picks for this game, but I don’t show up in the results anywhere. Not that I am due any points for this game . . .
It was a tough break, that's all. How did I know I was shooting up a police car?
