The Orem Owlz of the short season Pioneer League won their second game of the season 23-1. Pil Joon Jang pitched 6 innings of one-hit ball and is getting promoted to Cedar Rapids. RECAP
Cedar Rapids (Low-A) and Inland Empire (High-A) were on their all star breaks yesterday, but Travis Witherspoon of the CR Kernels won the Midwest League All Star Homerun Derby - SERIOUSLY.
The Texas League (AA) Arkansas Travelers won Tuesday's game 17-6 and sewed up a first-half title. Luis Jimenez hit 2 HR on a 3 for 4 night. Gabe Jacobo went 3 for 6 with 5 RBI. RECAP

Well done!
Destined to become an HH classic.
It was a tough break, that's all. How did I know I was shooting up a police car?
Ah, bummer. I sprung up at 7am inspired to write about last night's beatdown.
Went bedwise with the missus last night instead of typing.
But what happened with the Owlz last night is what happens when you draft college bats and interject them at high altitudes. They explode like Mentos in diet soda.
5 of the starting 9 were drafted/signed this year.
But is that an explosion of LUMINOUS RESISTANCE POWER?????
If the Halos don't care about the way they play, then why should I?
