…but in the end the protest will be denied. Speaking of protests, Girardi had a slam dunk winning protest a few weeks ago, but was too stupid to play the game under protest. Funny that he and Cashman both bitched about umps not knowing the rules, when Girardi could have had the ruling reversed if HE had known the rules.
