5/53 with a 5 m buyout on a 17 option
JD’s like, "you want some f*ing pitching? Here’s all the pitching you can stand. Now choke on it, b*#&hes!"- RCCook
LSB: "Oh s#*t, JD. You crazy!"
dice-k was 6/52
given that that was a few years ago, and since most think darvish is better, I’ll say 5/60 with a mutual 6th year option

I hope texas blows that much money on him
A 114 million dollar deal for an unproven starter, Nice. 23 million a year for a highly rated prospect is really just not smart

If Texas doesn't close this deal then maybe DOV is right :
DOV: “Texas is for Bitches”
Then Texas and the Nationals can start the bidding war for Prince Poundage.
CONGER, CONGER, CONGER !!!

I predict this falls through and they offer prince a butt load of years and cash and beef jerky.
which they should have done in the first place. offering a japanese bust essentially 20 mil a year is vernon wells contract stupidity.
What do you need a fancy suit for, Charlie, you ain't got no job to wear it to.
Im sure darvish will have some success in the MLB, his stuff is good.
But there are very few pitchers that are worth more than 20 million a year, and it is just plain stupid to give that money to a guy who has not proven himself against major league hitters. Contracts that size should be reserved for the best players at the peak of their career, not guys who project well. It really speaks to texas’ inability to close the deal with major free agent pitchers (cliff lee especially)

i hope its veggie beef jerky
wondering what Ortiz did with that game ball...
5 year base + club option for a 6th year
AAV of $12.5m per
Texas will also offer Fielder a contract structured somewhat like Pujols’ – low base in 2012, but high base in the out years: 7 years AAV of $24m
"When my mother was pregnant with me, they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later, they discovered that I had adsorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No, I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby."
$0 for 0 years
…he’ll go back to Japan and be with his kids while his marriage is falling down around his ears.
Then he’ll come back as a free agent next year, signing with the Yankees
I see red people
4 years, $45m
I think Darvish is holding out for a shorter deal.
I am on a horse!
I don't think he wants to pitch in Texas
I say he goes back home and comes back as a free agent in two years. That way he can go to a major market like LA or NY and not have to deal with the heat and humidity.
