Hmmm, what can you do with a parking lot attached to a stadium?
charge exhobitant fees, build a parking structure, then build an office bldg, lease said bldg. all the while having Dodger fans parking fees finance everything. Maybe charge the new owners of the Dodgers CAM fees for the parking lot .
CONGER, CONGER, CONGER !!!
The guy just won't get out of the way

I bet that the next time baseball owners have reservations about allowing someone to own a team...
…they will always err on the side of caution, er anti-McCourt theory!
Burn me once…shame on you. Burn me twice…

He Can Try
But who’s going to buy the team & stadium but not the lots? I wouldn’t; I don’t see why anyone else would, either. Frankrupt is behind the 8-ball on this one. He must sell the team. If the only offers he gets include the parking lots, well then…he’ll have to sell the lots, too.
He can put the team and not the lots into the bankruptcy auction
People will bid.
Willits? Check. Reagins? Check. Mathis? Check
You Think So?
I really don’t see why anyone would bid on a package that doesn’t include everything. Either that, or offer so little that he has no choice but to sell the lots, too, if he hopes to have anything left after he pays off Jamie and all his other debts.
You really put a lot of value into the lots
I have not read what he intends to do I just know that they are all in separate entities.
I am not the k=most knowledgeable person on this subject. I kinda ignore Dodger baseball it is boring and they frankly do not interest me at all.
Willits? Check. Reagins? Check. Mathis? Check
If people don't go to a restaraunt because there's no parking
they won’t go to a stadium, either. Especially in that neighborhood when they will have to walk for blocks past heroin addicts on Sunset or uphill from the park.
Bwahahahahahah!!!
Oh, wait… you were serious???? Remember, this is MCCOURT we’re talking about!!!
If the Halos don't care about the way they play, then why should I?
Better to not rape and pillage and actually keep the lots no?
By reasonable I mean in line with top tier parking charges in MLB.
Willits? Check. Reagins? Check. Mathis? Check
They Didn't Used to Be
separate entities. In fact, I suspect that the BK trustee could have sued McCourt for stripping the team of a valuable asset (the lots) without obtaining a fair price (a breach of fiduciary duty issue). Possibly a fraudulent transfer to avoid creditors. Whatever; I don’t think anyone involved wanted more litigation over the issue.
The value of the lots: well, we know they have a rental value of $14 million or so, annually. And, what value is a stadium if nobody can park there? So the lots obviously have tremendous value. If I were bidding, my offer would include the lots. If every potential suitor’s bid includes the lots, well then, Frank will have to sell the lots. I just don’t see how McCourt has any real bargaining leverage here.
He separated them long before the divorce
Someone here posted a fanshot on the structure of the Dodgers. They are a freaking mess.
Willits? Check. Reagins? Check. Mathis? Check
Pfffffffffffffffffffft
hahahahhahahahhahhahhahaa
"DOV all the way
Just compare the signature lines. Phi’s is terrible, just like his skidmark…errr…"mohawk". "
Buy the team and the stadium
Build a new stadium, and relocate the team.
Build office, or condos, at the old site to help finance new home for the team.
Validate parking for own tenants to use access road to the ravine. Charge toll for those who don’t use your space. Make the need for the McDork’s lots obsolete.
So if Frank gets the parking lots,
Does Jamie get all of the broken glass and used condoms from said parking lots?

Probably weight...
You know, all the empty shopping carts, La Pizza Loca boxes, discarded Billy Ashley bobbleheads, that stuff adds up after a while.

How could I forget the piss?
It wouldn’t be Chavez Latrine minus the piss.
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE...
If the BK trustee is smart, he appeal ...
and litigate the bleep out of this; and so will baseball. Essentially, this is profoundly persuasive evidence that McCourt knew that he was running a shell game, so he leached the asset of steady revenue streams (that had little or no overhead) and protected them while quarantining the assets that had lots of overhead. I wonder if he did this with the intellectual property rights, the stadium, the concession rights, etc., etc. This sort of business is what has totally FUCKED this country, and I would bet that Romney is proud of the way that McCourt “saved” the Dodgers.
