On a second note.
The official Angels team page has reached and passed 400k likes. It’s neat to follow as the number grows. I think it jumped about 30K in the week after Dec 8th.

I’m trying to figure out who is going to pay for the internet charges on the ship at 75cents a minute for slow as dial up service… Cause as much as I wouldn’t mind doing it from the ship, at those rates, well, I think I’d rather drink and write an entire article about it and post it when I get home with all the pictures I’ll be taking.
I HAVE heard rumors, though.. Trumbo booked 14 of his friends to come on the cruise, we are having a dance contest and a beer pong tournament.. So I IMAGINE that I will have some interesting pictures and stories when I get home..
Your BIGGER problem is what happens when you enter a foreign port.
You could have dozens of emails waiting to be delivered to your phone, including friends who sent photos. When you connect, depending on your plan, you could get a text warning asking for your authorization to enable roaming international service and accept charges from the local carrier.
Be – Friggin – WARE!!!
Just clicking YES to that request might result in a huge phone bill. Read that message VERY CAREFULLY, and know that:
1024 KB = 1MB
1024 MB = 1GB
1024 GB = 1TB
So 1GB of data downloaded to your phone to catch up on 5 days at sea, at 50 cents per MB, would be $512. (At 50 cents per KB, which you will probably NOT see, that amount of data would be $524,288!!!)
Learn what they want per GB, and have a feel for how much data you use daily.

Oh no, my phone is staying OFF!!!! If I do anything, I’ll be using the computers on board, or my laptop in Ensenada..
What I think I am going to do is type any comments or stories up OFFLINE, and then just copy and paste them to the facebook page when I go online. That will make it easier for me to edit my thoughts AND cheaper to post them. I will TRY to get ONE good picture for each post, and that way there’s some visuals to go with the story, and hopefully, it won’t take 2 days to upload a picture…
I already know the first post should be before I even leave port, but as long as we are still docked, I can use my cell to post, and it will still be my usual plan.. The 2nd post will be after the free cocktail party on Friday night, and then Saturday, I can post about anything that happens at dinner or afterwards (each player is put at a different dinner table and is your tablemate for the entire cruise. Last year, I got Trevor Bell as a tablemate.) from Ensenada, as McDonalds is right there where the shuttle will pick us up, and everyone knows McD’s has free wifi…
The hard part will be SUNDAY. Sunday is our “day at sea”, which means we will be bobbing on the water on the far side of Catalina most of the day, but it’s also the day we get to do most of our ANGELS stuff. Q & A, group picture and autograph session in the am, and then football game with the players in the sports bar, followed by our final shindig, which is a 2 hour game show for prizes provided by the Angels.

No it’s NOT. I am NOT happy with JUST 1000 likes.. I’m gonna start harassing people on twiiter soon for #FF so I can get the counts up on Twitter, and then I’ll get all those people to LIKE us on FB, too.. I have a plan…
I don’t think I’ll hit 400,000 like the official Angels page has, but I won’t complain if I can get a few THOUSAND..
