Might be worth a flier if he's going to be cheap.
Also, Fernando Rodney is not impressed by that 6.1 BB/9 Lidge had last year.
no
The neighbor is a cranky irish expat. He if wanted no snakes, he shoulda stayed in Ireland.

LA Angels 2012 Champions!
Madson who?
Why have the Bridge to Lidge when you can have the man himself?

My first instinct is "No"
He has the same problem as Walden: walks. Unless he comes with an incentive laden contract, I would rather give Cassevah the chance to prove himself.
I would have thought Casseveh was the plan anyway.
He and Thompsonn.
I like Cassevah
had a 1.18 WHIP last season, and really seemed to turn it on later on when sosh made him the 7th inning guy.

I fail to see the need for even more old bullpen arms
When we have Takahashi, Downs and Hawkins all long past the wrong side of 30.
Seriously, our bullpen looks set. I’d rather not let Thompson and his absurd K/BB ratio go on waivers, and Cassevah looks like he’s a serious arm to have at the ready. Downs is bound to be an All-Star next year if he can bring another sub-1.50 ERA, Hawkins will be a steady veteran presence, and Walden…well, we’ll wait and see if his control improves. If so, the rest of the AL best watch out.
