Again

I really am not much interested in stats. I don't feel better that we may win more games this year than last. I am not appeased we have the hitter of a generation, the Rookie of the Year, the MVP and the Cy Young...its nice, love to watch them play...but don't care much unless they play October baseball. I'm guessing those guys feel the same. You know Torii does.

So the question is when do the Angels get serious about being an effective October team and finally jettison the turn the page mentality? When do they dump the guy who says he never looks at the standings? When do they dump the guy that uses 210 lineups in a 162 game season--ok a slight exaggeration--? When do they dump the guy who still thinks Vernon Wells has an upside and benches the teams home run leader?

Its on him and his pitching coach...after all the batting coach thing worked out didn't it?

Three years...three times...and in baseball parlance, you're out!

When does Scioscia leave? Does he resign and become a team "consultant"? Does he get fired? When?

Today....to give the guys an even chance at sweeping Seattle

October...when everyone is watching someone else play baseball.

November...when the World Series fever breaks

December...when the fat man sings "ho, ho, ho"

January....when Arte wakes up from his hangover

None of the above...when more and more of the three million paid decide to stay home - and for good reason.
