Trade Peter, Trumbo, Cron +2 more prospects(hopefully not Cowart and Maronde) for Stanton and Nolasco.
Everyone is saying that the Angels have a thin list of prospects, but Peter and Trumbo are proven mlb players at minimum salary and can still improve. Miami will be able to cover their outfield with PB, Trumbo and Morrison. Miami can try Cron at 1st base. Miami will also clear Nolasco's 9m off the books.
For the Angels, a Tout-Stanton-Pujols combination will be the best 3 player combination of any team in MLB. It will also add Nolasco, a SP which we need. Angels will be 1 player short in the outfield, but they can fill it up in FA (like Bourn, BJ or Ross).
Trade Peter or Trumbo, Morales, Cron +2 more prospects(hopefully not Cowart and Maronde) for Shields.
The Rays need position players in the outfield and 1st base and this cover it. They can get Morales for 1 year rental then put Cron next year at 1st base.
The Angels need a SP to pair with Weaver, I know Zack is still the better choice, talent wise, but we know he's asking price is at least 120m. Then the Angels can fill the outfield by signing either Bourn or Upton.
