Final Offseason Friday
The Offseason is almost over and the 2012 Preseason is about to begin. No matter how long you have followed this team, this time it seems different, it seems like maybe the whole damn franchise is about to break on through to the other side. Can you still recall the times we cried? These might be the last days of the Angels as you have known them. Take one last long look before you have to share this team with the rest of the world...

Getting on base has always been an issue for the Angels
That’ll be what prevents Pujols from reaching those RBI totals.
"Just another Halo victory" - Rory Markas
who cares?
now is the time to be dreaming lofty dreams, not miring yourself in the wretch that is reality. just be happy that baseball will be starting pretty soon and we have a pujols in our line-up and a rotation that will strangle opponents.
and then what?

God so excited for this season
Each year I fall more in love with Baseball and more in love with the Angels. Now with a kid on the way, I’m so excited to share this game with him or her. We’ll get to re-enact a picture from when my wife was three weeks old — she went to her first baseball game, an Angels White Sox game in 1982.
I love reading the stories about how these big TV deals are democratizing Baseball. I love that we signed big guns and kept our young players. I can’t wait to see if we build on last season.
Most of all I can’t wait to get to the ballpark. Last year at Spring training, during the National Anthem I just kept saying, Baseball is back. And it wasn’t even an Angels game.
Let's Go P-BO!
She gets HIGH!
I love how bored/annoyed Morrison looks while lip-synching the words (and having to adhere to the moral standards that prohibited him from singing – and radio stations from playing – the full lyrics).
I’m anxious for some baseball. Even spring training games with single-A players will do.
Let get to the Playoffs and see where it goes from there
When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!

It's going to feel a little weird this ST
When we aren’t dreading that guy standing between Wilson and Weaver somehow “earning” a ton of playing time.
I know the Pujols/Wilson signings were the big splash this year...
… but nothing filled me with more joy than the trading away of Mathis. I can’t wait for the season to start.

I hope Trout lights it up so that there is no doubt he deserves to be on the team opening day.
Man can dream right?

I'm still disappointed with this off season
because we still haven’t heard the best news – Buttercup has been traded for _______. Come to think of it, that Doors song would do just fine. Very fitting for an LA team.
Where were you on December 8th, 2011 - Pujols Day?

Pujols won't get near 120
if Aybar leads off for any major part of the season.
If they have Abreu lead off against righties, bat Callaspo second all the time, and find a suitable leadoff guy for lefties then I could see 120 fairly easily.

Just compare the signature lines. Phi’s is terrible, just like his skidmark…errr…"mohawk". "
