Angels Individual Game Sale.... NO THANK YOU!

So I'm at home today trying to get over a horrible cold, which I thought was actually a good thing in a way because my sick day coincided with the annual season seat holder individual game pre-sell. In the past this has been a great way for me to actually go to Angels games frequently as I can pick up cheap seats in LF or the View Level and go and support my Angels since I can't shell out the 600+ a game for my families seats hardly ever.

Anyway I haven't tried buying the past few years because both my kids were too young to go, but this year I planned on buying like 10 games. What I encountered for the first time was a tiered system wherein all the games you might actually want to go to cost significantly more than the prices I was used to paying. What I remember paying 15-20 a seat for a few years ago now costs like 50 bucks a seat. I get that the Angels need to raise prices to support their payroll and this post isn't meant as a complaint, only as a there is NO WAY I'm going to be buying tickets ever again from the Angels/Ticketmaster because IMHO they are vastly overshooting the actual value of those tickets. I'm just gonna pass today, and pick them up on stubhub for quarters on the dollar later hopefully.

If I'm wrong and the true value now of seats in LF is 50+ then I guess I won't be taking my whole family out to many games in the future. My wife and I make decent money (definitely in the shrinking middle class) but am I the only one out there that thinks spending 200 on LF seats for 4 people, plus 8 bucks parking plus probably another 30 in food is WAY too much to ask for?
