OT: The new Van Halen actually rules and sounds like its 1988 again. David Lee Roth on vocals.

Meh
This stuff was fresh and innovative in 1978, but VH had already jumped the shark by 1988. I admit that it sounds better than anything they’ve recorded in a long time, but it strikes me as generic party-rock now.
Try and have a little fun for once, Sub
WAR is cool and all but it doesn’t shred like Eddie!

I pretty much just listen to classic music now (I think the majority of new music sucks).
I’m definitely going to check out VH’s new album.
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE...
I burned out on Van Halen in high school, I'm afraid
But I still remember the first time I ever heard “Eruption.” I had no idea guitars could do that.
your ipod consists of rick ross and van halen?
PRETTY ECLECTIC BROHAM
What do you need a fancy suit for, Charlie, you ain't got no job to wear it to.
My musical taste go a lot of different directions....my main criteria is that is rocks
“rocks” is a pretty loose term, though to me. Rick Ross to Neil Young to VH to Curtis Mayfield to The Smiths to so obscure noisy ass shit that isn’t worth mentioning.
No wafer-thin shit. Thats the rule.

Saw them at the Honda Center on their reunion tour about 5 years ago
It was pretty awesome.
I’ve started to get burnt out on alot of older rock lately though, and i’ve really gotten into some of the newer indie rock.
Doesn't Anaheim Stadium make a cameo
in Roth’s “A lil’ ain’t enough” video?
Captain, there are doubt''s...
Van Halen Tour looks interesting
Usually I just let Van Halen tours go by but they’ve got Kool and the Gang opening for them.
Outta Space!!!
Wait, She’s the Woman! Wait, Big River! They’re all kick ass.
You must mean 1984
1988 was Van Hagar.
Nothing beats Dave back in the day. This vocals-only mix proves it.
I did love Dave's voice. I'm glad his feet seem to be back on earth.
"We are the JeDi, the ultimate power in the universe. We will do as we choose. And we will destroy any who dare stand in our way."
Some of the clips sound like CLASSIC VH.
Tattoo sucks balls, but a lot of these new songs really take me back with their vibe.
Tattoo is the worst song on the record...
just skip it. The rest rules.
