Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto (19) and starting pitcher Brett Tomko (36) miss on an attempt to get out Los Angeles Angels shortstop Jean Segura (20) during the fourth inning at Goodyear Ballpark.

While the Angels handily beat the Indians in Tempe, down in Goodyear, a split squad of Halos lost to the Reds 5-4, but the boxscore tells a lot of what we need to know... and it was not that long ago that the average sports fan read more boxscores of games then he might have seen broadcast.
