Video analysis about Ervin's bruised arm...

Ervin Santana was nailed on his right bicep just below the shoulder in the second inning of his second cactus league start. He did not think it was a big deal in an interview with MLBdotcom's Alden Gonzalez. Santana allowed 1 ER in 1.1 IP (and the run scored via a baserunner on when Eddie McKiernan gave up a HR in emergency relief) in the Angels 7 - 9 loss to the White Sox.

Every Angels pitcher allowed at least a run save for a spotless 1 IP by Jeremy Berg. Reliever Jordan Walden struck out the side in the sixth inning but allowed a 2-run HR to Adam Dunn. Righty John Hellweg allowed the most in, though, 4 ER in 2 IP, receiving the Loss in a game that is most likely to be remembered as the one in which Albert Pujols hit his first HR in an Angels uniform. He hit two in the game in fact. Santana is listed as day to day.
