LONG HAIR DON'T CARE

A good day under the Shamrock. The Angels beat the Brewers 8-1 in Tempe. My report...

Maybe even bigger news saw Kendrys Morales and Mike Trout take in action on the minor league field. K-Mo is coming back from ankle surgery while Trout lost over ten pounds to a nasty flu bug. The Kowbell had a hit from the right side in a 1-4 game and Trout went 0 for 5 but didn't get sick all over the place so it is a step forward.

Against quasi major league competition, Jered Weaver allowed 1 ER, 2 Hits and had 4 Ks in 4 IP, Vernon Wells had a big double with men on and the Angels cruised to a 8-1 victory over Milwaukee. Young Alberto Rosario caught the Weave for the first time and with only one rough inning, it could be construed as an education on receiving the master of deception. Jordan Walden looked great in a scoreless inning.
