Diamondback Trade Partner

This article is centered around Miguel Montero. While it may be nice to have him catching everyday for the Halos, the fact remains that he's a free agent after this season and I fear he'll ask for Yadier Molina type money. I don't believe Montero is worth 5 years at $75M. However, in the article it notes that the Diamondbacks are also searching for Montero's successor. Additionally, they would like to find a one year stop gap at 3rd. Their current 1st baseman, Paul Goldschmidt, has struck out 1/3 of the times he's been to the plate and they may like another alternative if Goldschmidt doesn't work out. Lastly, adding a pitcher to replace someone in the rotation after my proposed trade. Angels get: SP Trevor Cahill Diamondbacks get: SP Garrett Richards, C Hank Conger, 1st baseman CJ Cron, and 3rd baseman / Utility Alberto Callaspo. Can you imagine how sic our rotation would be then??? Weaver, Haren, Wilson, Santana, and Cahill.... wow. Plus, not having Callaspo on the roster would make Jorge Cantu permanant party which I like. For the Diamondbacks, it allows them to trade Montero at the July 31st trade deadline knowing they already have their catcher of the future in Conger (And under club control and considerably more affordable) and can focus on either trading for more offense or adding picthing depth. Win-Win IMO for both clubs.
