Austin Wood named MWL Pitcher of the Week

"In two starts, Wood allowed one run on just four hits, walked three and struck out 15 over 10 IP. In that period he had two wins and a 0.90 ERA. He is scheduled to take the mound tonight in the Kernels series opener at Peoria. Wood is the first Kernel this season to earn MWL weekly honors." I say we bring him up for bullpen help by tomorrow night. He's cooked and toolsy.
