We could qualify for that second wildcard.
We could qualify for that first wildcard.
Texas could be a different team in August and hand us the division, and it is all theirs to lose, but still... seven and a half games after all this terrible fortune is kind of nice, kind of "misunderestimate the assassin" where you want to be if you are not running away with the thing or obsessing about draft picks in a small market.
We have most of the pieces to the puzzle and a few pieces to a great puzzle for the 2006 season, perhaps we cold send them back in a time machine to help that 89-win Angels team take the division.
We are 9-5 since Mike Trout was promoted to the team.
And I say WE because we care more about this team than disgusting underachievers like Vernon Wells who contribute less than zero - and apologies to Robert Downey Jr. for mentioning him in the same sentence as Vernothing.
That's all I got.
